Clayton Scott Sheppard August 23, 1961 - November 26, 2024

With heavy hearts, we announce that Clayton Scott Sheppard, 63, of Clarenville, passed away peacefully on November 26th at Dr. GB Cross Memorial Hospital, with family by his side.

Clayton was born on August 23, 1961 in Buchans, Newfoundland, to Clayton and Ann Sheppard. He was a dedicated truck driver who found joy on the open road and the freedom it brought. He had a deep love for music, a passion for barbecuing, and an unwavering willingness to help others.

Clayton is survived by his children, Anthony Sheppard (Megan) and Germaine Sheppard (Mira), from his marriage to Suzette Blundon; and by his former long-term partner, Janette Nichol, along with her children, Ashley and Brad Sargent. He is also remembered by his beloved sisters, Joy Adey (Blair) and Judy Hefford (Ralph), and niece Mela Benson (Paul). Clayton was predeceased by his loving parents and niece Amanda.

The family would like to thank the staff at Miraquinn Hilltop Manor in Hickman’s Harbour for their dedication and care over the last few years.

Clayton will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
