It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, Carol Bonnitte “Bonnie” Ralph of WinterBrook, who passed away peacefully at the Dr. O’Mahony Manor in Clarenville on November 6, 2024. She is predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Violet Curtis; parents-in-law, Heber and Annie Ralph; sister, Betty; brother, Jim; sisters-in-law, Nelly (Guy), Madeline (Gord), Stella (Lawrence); brother-in-law, Albert.
Leaving to mourn is her wonderful husband of almost 57 years, Ronald. Her children, Todd, Jamie (Janelle), and Corey (Noelle); her four grandchildren, Colby, Lucas, Brayden, and Evan; brothers, Albert (Carrie) and David; sister, Joy; sister-in-law, Mary; nieces and nephews, and a large number of family and friends.
Bonnie will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile, kindness, and her “love of jewelry”. If you didn’t know what to get her for a gift, you could never go wrong with jewelry. Her face would light up with excitement just to wear it.
The family would like to thank all of the home support workers who take good care of Bonnie while she was living at home. As well as Golden Heights Manor for their care and kindness during the 9 months she lived there. Special heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Dr. O’Mahony Manor who treated Bonnie like she was a big part of their family. Your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten, especially during her last few days here with us.
As per Bonnie wishes, we will celebrate her life when she is able to reunite with the love of her life once again. Cremation to take place promptly.
While we know that she is at peace and her struggles are at end, there is pain and sadness. But even though she is gone, she will live in our memories and our hearts forever.

November 7, 2024 at 4:21 pmI am very saddened to hear of Bonnie’s passing. Sincere condolences to Ron and their sons and extended family.
Bonnie and I were so close as pre-teens and early teens – both as cousins and classmates in elementary school, also having grown up in adjacent homes in Portland. She was certainly right up there as a favorite cousin and friend in those younger years, and will be very fondly remembered as long as I draw breath, myself.
Rest easy my friend and cousin, and God Bless.

It is with a very heavy heart that I send my deepest sympathy to all of Bonnie’s family.
Cousin Bonnie and I spent many times together especially Summer Holidays, either at her home In Portland or mine in Bishops Falls. When we started our families there was always great times together with all of our children. Many great meals and lots of fun and laughter.
As life took different turns for both our families we always tried to keep in touch as much as possible. Bonnie was a true friend and a Beautiful Cousin.. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Especially her Beautiful smile. Love and Prayers, Marion and Family.
