Carol Ann (Blackmore) Harris April 15, 1955 - August 10, 2023

Passed peacefully away surrounded by her family at G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville on Thursday, August 10, 2023, Carol Harris of Port Blandford, age 68 years.  Predeceased by her parents Donald and Elsie Blackmore, parents-in-law William and Marcella Harris, brothers-in-law Gary Holloway and Wade Harris; sister-in-law Glenda Blackmore and nephew Tyler Dove.  Leaving to mourn with loving memories her husband Bill; sons Christopher (Angie) and Justin (Roxanne); precious grandchildren and love of her life Cole, Abby, Ben, Jake and Billie; sisters Donna Holloway, Dianne (Allan) Greening, Karen (David) Peddle and Kimberly (Michael) Hobbs and brother Douglas Blackmore; brothers-in-law Gerald (Agnes) Harris and David (Paulette) Harris; sisters-in-law Christine (David) Jones and Exie (Ged Dalton) Harris; her nieces and nephews, and a large circle of family and friends.

For those of us that have the privilege to call Carol a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Sister-in-law, Aunt and Friend, will cherish every moment spent with this selfless, kind hearted, devoted woman.  She has touched the lives of so many, her laughter will forever be heard, her generosity will never go unnoticed, and her strength will never be forgotten.  We now have an angel to call by name.

Resting at St. Aidan’s Anglican Church, Port Blandford, Saturday, August 12, 2023 and Sunday August 13, 2023.  Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 14, 2023 with interment to follow at the Cemetery.

    Bill and family we were so sorry to hear of Carol’s passing. She was such a beautiful, kind and friendly person. I know it is difficult at this time but you will always have your memories to cherish and she will always be in your heart.

      Joy and I were saddened to learn of Carol’s passing. As my cousin, I remember her quiet demeanor, her kind heart, and the way she always made you feel welcome. Today and in the weeks that follow we trust you will find some comfort in every memory of her.
