Calvert Meadus – Fewer's Funeral Home

MEADUS, Calvert – Passed peacefully away at the Golden Heights Manor, Bonavista, On Tuesday, March 17, 2020, Calvert Meadus of St. Jones Within, NL, aged 92 years. Predeceased by his wife Lucy; brothers and sisters. Left with fond and loving memories are his sons Wilfred (Yvonne), Lindo (Kim); five grandchildren Brad, Karen (Greg), Jackey (Brian), Deanna (Corey), Andrew; four great grandchildren Charlie, Georgia, Caden, Brianna and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 19 and Friday, March 20, 2020 from 2 – 4 p.m. Public committal service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Cemetery, St. Jones Within. In his memory donations may be made to the Faith United Church, St. Jones Within.

So sad to hear of Uncle Calvie’s passing, He was always much admired by myself & great many others I’m sure. He was a very fine person, very smart, very bright & very talented. Now he’s again with Aunt Lucy, Mom & Pop Meadus, Uncle Herb & Aunt Martha, Mother & all the rest of those fine people that were lucky enough to know him. Condolences to all.
