Passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer at the Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville , NL. on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, Barbara Anne Recknell of Sunnyside, NL. formerly of Thompson and Makinak, Manitoba, age 69 years. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Grant of 34 years; son Chris (Kristen) and grandchildren Van and Annie, of Kamloops, BC; sisters Fran (Shawn) and Tracey (Dan); brothers Gordie (Michelle), Robbie (Caroline), David (Randi), Shaun (Sally), Cory and Brian (Carla); and a circle of other family members and friends. In respect of Barb’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no funeral service will be held.
