March 7, 2023 at 5:17 pmOn behalf of the Clarenville Area Ministerial Association (ministers of all denominations), we extend our condolences to friends and family. Austin was a big help whenever we had services at the retirement centre. We will all miss him: especially his warmth, generosity, and big smile. What a blessing he was to all of us.

March 7, 2023 at 5:41 pmOn a personal note: I was touched by Austin’s example at the retirement centre. He always made sure people made it down for our services, he’d help get everyone situated, pass out hymnals, ask if I needed any help…and all before he found his seat. I will not forget that. I’m holding you all (the family and friends who are family) in prayer, but also the whole CRC family. Austin was a part of it all and, because of that, it won’t be the same without him.

March 9, 2023 at 9:19 amMy sincere condolences to all of Austin’s family. He was a great man with a big heart. When we would share our music at the Retirement Centre he would be the first to greet us with his smile and a helping hand. His caring and compassionate ways will be surely missed.
