Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s on Friday, August 8, 2025, Austin Payne Sr. of Deep Bight, age 71 years.
Predeceased by his parents Harry and Dorothy Payne; sisters Clara Penton (Robert) and Dora Brown (Bruce); brother Frank Payne.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Rosalind; children Stephanie (Shawn), Dorothy (Dwayne), Darrell (Anita), Ronnie and Austin Jr. (Krista); grandchildren Hilary, Brianna, Nikita, Logan, Jayden, Ryan, Carson, Lillian, Lincoln, Mackenzie and Mykayla; great grandchild Nora; sister Jean Brown; brother Roland (Rosie); and a large circle of relatives and friends.
Visitation and service will take place in Fogo. Dates of visitation and service will be updated when confirmed.
