Passed peacefully away at Dr. Albert O’Mahony Manor in Clarenville on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 Anetta Chaffey of Musgravetown, aged 89 years. Predeceased by her husband Dalman Chaffey; son in law Ernest Dominey, brothers Milton, Hedley and Marvin; sisters Myrtice Martin and Louise Coles. Left with fond and loving memories her daughters Joyce Dominey of Winnipeg, MB and Kay Pye (Dave) of Musgravetown; grandchildren Steven (Sara) of Ottawa ON., Scott (Heather) of Winnipeg, MB.; 3 great granddaughters Rose, Nora and Ivy; sister Joyce Day (Walter) of Musgravetown; brother Robert Penney (Winnie) of Botwood; sisters-in-law Stella Penney of Corner Brook, Mary Penney of Bloomfield, Verlie Penney of New Glasgow, NS and Vilda Chapman of Ottawa, ON., and a large circle of family and friends. Due to COVID-19 a private family visitation will take place followed by a private family committal service at the Heritage United Cemetery, Musgravetown. In her memory, donations gratefully accepted to the Heritage United Church, Musgravetown.

We picked up your Mom along with others from the O`Mahoney Manor and took them on a outing at the park for the afternoon and brought them back to the Manor. We had a good chat that afternoon. I knew I could always joke with her no matter what the joke was. And believe you and me some of them we doozies. We had many of talks and I think she is finally where she wanted to be.
