January 13, 2023 at 4:47 pmSuch sad news on Andy’s sudden passing. Always enjoyed when he stopped for a chat when in Plate Cove. I will miss seeing him parked over on the Height or by Jerry Tracey’s looking out over the water remembering those same views from when he was young. God Bless you Andy and May fair winds always be at your back. Deepest condolences to the family.

January 13, 2023 at 4:54 pmChristine and family: I was very shocked to hear that Andy had passed away. My condolences are with you all at this time. Andy and I went to school at St. Joe’s and graduated from St. Paul’s High in Gander in 1966. We had our 50th reunion in 2016 and it was wonderful to reconnect with Andy at that time. He loved his family which showed in the way he spoke of you all at that time. He was also so proud of his new home in Southern Bay and even suggested that we could consider having our 60th reunion at you home. I know that Andy is now another Guardian Angel watching over you all and will do his best to keep you all safe. If at all possible I will make every attempt to attend any service you hold for Andy in Newfoundland.

January 13, 2023 at 10:45 pmChristine and family please accept my sincere sympathy and condolences. It was such sad news to hear. You both moved back the same year I built my cottage in Plate Cove. I have enjoyed meeting him during the summers and having chats with him. I also enjoyed reading his comments on the old St Paul’s Facebook site and you know your from Gander when…
He was such a happy person and so pleasant to be around. He will be truly missed. May God bless you all at this sad time and may Andy rest in peace.
