It is with profound sadness that the family of Albert (Bert) Harris of Little Hearts Ease announces his passing at the age of 86 on December 19th 2025.
Predeceased by his parents Viola & Carson Matchem, sister Mary Drodge & brother Clarence Matchem.
Left with fond and loving memories his partner & best friend of 50 years Lydia Drodge; daughter Charlene Randell (Ross), stepson Eli Drodge (Dianne), granddaughters Jessica Drodge (Cody), Elissa Drodge (Patrick) Clerisa Burry (Richard) & grandson Zachary Mercer (Kaitlyn) & great granddaughter Jayden, as well as a large circle of family & friends. Bert was a friend to many and helped anyone who called upon him. He loved the outdoors.
Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home in Little Hearts Ease Saturday December 20th 2025 from 7pm-9pm and Sunday December 21st 2025 2pm-4pm, 7pm-9pm. The funeral service to be held Monday December 22nd at 2pm at the Salvation Army in Little Heart Ease with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Little Hearts Ease. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.
